Dr. Kailyn Blackmon takes a whole-person approach to care, recognizing the deep connection between mental, emotional, and physical health. She believes that meaningful change happens when all aspects of a person’s well-being are considered, and she works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, manage stress, and create a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Dr. Blackmon has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, trauma recovery, and self-esteem challenges. She also provides specialized care for those managing co-occurring physical health conditions such as chronic pain, sleep disturbances, diabetes, high blood pressure, and tinnitus. In addition, she offers compassionate support for clients addressing issues related to sexual and reproductive health, including the emotional impact of STIs (HSV, HPV, HIV/AIDS) and the stigma that can accompany these experiences.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Dr. Blackmon integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Brief Psychotherapy to guide clients toward lasting growth and healing.

Dr. Blackmon is dedicated to helping each person she works with feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether you’re seeking therapy for a specific concern or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being, she provides a warm, collaborative space to begin your journey toward healing, balance, and personal growth.
