Tu Vo earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. During her time at Wake Forest, Tu was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society in counseling. Tu has experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, body dysmorphia, relational issues, substance abuse, and addiction. Clinically, Tu has worked with adolescents, teens, adults, families, and couples. Tu strives to offer an empathic, warm, and a non-judgmental environment for her clients. Tu uses techniques derived from CBT, DBT, Solution-focused, and Person-centered approach to form a multidimensional approach that is tailored to fit each client. She hopes her clients leave each session with a better understanding of themselves. She encourages her clients to celebrate the small wins and implement different adaptive coping skills into their daily lives.
In her free time, Tu enjoys hiking, working out, and playing volleyball and flag football. Tu plays for multiple flag football teams in Atlanta and travels yearly to compete at different national tournaments.
