Cristina believes therapy should feel safe, relatable, and transformative. She works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from what’s holding them back, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Cristina is a bilingual therapist offering sessions in both English and Spanish. She is especially passionate about serving Spanish-speaking individuals and immigrant families, creating a space where clients feel deeply seen, heard, and understood — culturally and emotionally.
She has experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, and more complex experiences including suicidality and psychosis. Cristina has a special interest and certification in anger work and brings a calm, steady presence to conversations that may feel difficult or overwhelming. She also has extensive experience conducting psychosocial evaluations for individuals navigating immigration proceedings.
Cristina’s approach is collaborative and practical. She draws from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed interventions, Gottman Method couples therapy, and mindfulness techniques. She tailors each session to your goals, helping you build insight, develop tools, and move toward lasting change.
Clients often describe Cristina as compassionate, grounded, and easy to talk to. She believes in your capacity for growth and sees therapy as a partnership — one where you don’t have to face things alone.
Cristina earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University and has worked in both community mental health and private practice settings. She is licensed in Georgia and North Carolina.
